Much like the earlier Coelophysis from the Triassic period, OrnitholestesΓÇÖ likely behaviour was typical of other small theropods, scavenging what food it could and only working with others when absolutely necessary. It is unlikely they were able to make any impression upon the larger sauropods and probably waited alone or in small groups by whatever food supply they could find.
